ok i'm in the library now, i'm suppose to be studying for accounting quiz tonight but i got bored and i don't have anything else to do so i decided to take this chance and blog. time check it's 4pm and quiz is at 7pm. meeting classmates at 6pm for dinner so i have 2 hours to burn.
it's not like i'm super confident for the quiz or anything, especially after yesterday's disastrous fm and hr quizes, but i really have no mood to study. (how many times have i said this?!)
and i'm still marvelling at how fast time can pass even when you're not having fun. half a term's gone already and before i know it my first year in uni will be over.
sometimes i wonder, now i'm willing my uni life to be over asap, but what if working is much worse/more stressful than being in school? and what if the economic situation worsens in 3 years?
it's kinda ironic really, how i'm not really stressed over my quizes cos i know God will provide, yet at the same time here i am worrying about my future job (or lack of it).
ok time to blog about happier issues, let's see what has happened since the last time i blogged...
there was gary's bday celebration where we tried to surprise him and succeeded! (though a special surprise was spoilt haha.) it was the first bbq i had in ages and it was fun catching up. big thanks to all friends who helped, weiclarenceminloicolleenyingneng. just sad that so many pple ps at the last minute. but it was fun! bday boy was touched and indebted to the rest of us. haha.
and i learnt how to cycle as well! haha courtesy of bf's patience. though at first i kept stopping the bike suddenly with my legs (somehow my mind went blank cos i got scared when i was going too fast and forgot there's such a thing as a brake) and my legs got scratched and bruised by the pedals and once i started crying it it REALLY hurt but yes after one and a half hours of cycling my bum hurts and i can say i can cycle now. :D
oh and there's vday where gary had some elaborate plan to lie to me and then surprise me which i thought was super sweet cos he usually doesn't do this kinda thing (must be the birthday celebration haha!) unfortunately i found out before vday :P somehow we have this uncanny ability to spoil each others' surprises, unknowingly of course. but it was a good vday we had dinner at hooked then went to town for a walk.
and i just had someone draw a henna design on my left hand (how to you phrase that?! henna painting henna art...?). went to some travel fair with weiqin and at the india booth was this girl drawing/painting/whatever it's called and weiqin convinced me to try it. i only wanted a small design but it is pretty. kinda like having a temporary tatoo. haha.
ok that's all i can think of now. life after the holidays was mainly about school and lectures and tutorials and fm essays anw. :P
